Community Involvement
de maximis has been part of EPA’s Community Relation program for the NMI Site since starting work on the Remedial Investigation in 2004. The same basic approach that was successfully used during the RI/FS, Building NTCRA, and Groundwater NTCRA will be continued for the RD/RA. Members of the community groups will be able to review key documents (such as work plans and design submittals). After a review period, the project team will meet with members of the community groups to discuss the draft document and comments / concerns the community may have. Key data will be presented such that the community groups will be able to understand the issues at hand.
