Overall RD/RA
The Remedial Design/Remedial Action (RD/RA) work will continue to implement the remedy selected by USEPA, as outlined in the Record of Decision (ROD, September 2015) and Statement of Work (August 2011). Prior to this RD/RA work, the Settling Defendants initiated two Non Time-Critical Removal Actions (NTCRA) for Building Demolition (2011) and Groundwater (2016) which situated the site with temporary liner over the demolished building sites and the permanent Ex-Situ Groundwater Treatment facility in place.
The five Remedial Components of the RD/RA (Soils & Sediment, ISS, Holding Basin, Ex-Situ Groundwater, and Bedrock Groundwater) will each consist of its own design and construction timeline. Progress will be featured accordingly on each web page.
Site-wide monitoring will be performed and updated as part of the overall project.
